I got this little one 15 years ago (!), with badly painted pink lips over her original white ones. The paint had been laid thick and unevenly, like someone rubbed wet chalk on her mouth, the poor thing.
Last week I was considering putting her up for sale (need to downsize more than I need the money), but knowing how much stock Blythes are going for nowadays (very little) and the pain that is selling stuff online (especially now with so many planes grounded and not much moving fast) I decided to keep her and give her a small makeover.
Off with the chalky pink lips and her original body – it had a crack on the shoulder that I only noticed when I undressed her after god knows how many years. Gave her face a light sanding to get rid of small stains, some blushing and for the time being a XS Azone body; they’re quite delicate and childlike but hellish to dress as they’re so skinny, but she looks so cute with it that I might keep it. ♥
Then she got a new name. Juniper Joy. I think it suits her; how about you?
